The Municipality of Miraflores launched the “Miraflores vive la copa” campaign. This initiative offers up to 25% discounts at food and craft shops in the district. It is also aimed at foreign visitors, especially Brazilians who will be arriving in Lima to enjoy the final of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores this Saturday, November 29, at 4:00 p.m.

On the one hand, the campaign includes promotions at restaurants, cafes, bars, and establishments that celebrate Peruvian food. It also offers exclusive soccer-related activities in Miraflores. On the other hand, artisans at the Craft Boulevard on Petit Thouars Avenue are offering discounts on their pieces. You can find out more about the establishments and get more information at the official link.

More Benefits for Visitors

In addition to discounts, the campaign offers free tours of the district. These experiences are designed for Brazilian visitors who are waiting for the big match between Flamengo and Palmeiras. In recent hours, Miraflores has already welcomed thousands of fans from Brazil and soccer fans from all over South America. Sports delegations and journalists have also arrived.

Because of this, the municipality is working with unions, associations, and tourism agents. Together, they are presenting a proposal that reinforces the district’s image as a host city. In this way, Miraflores is showcasing its renowned cuisine, cultural offerings, and hospitality.

Throughout the week, visitors can take part in short tours along the Miraflores boardwalk. To do so, they simply need to register by emailing turismo@miraflores.gob.pe.

These tours will take them to places such as Parque Chino, Parque del Amor, and Puente de la Paz. In addition, the municipality has trained taxi drivers, merchants, and municipal staff to provide better service.

Special Content for Fans

The campaign also has a podcast called “Miraflores vive la copa” (Miraflores lives the cup). In it, sports journalist Roberto Castro and content creators Andrea Mori and Isa Terrones talk about everything the district has to offer. The first two episodes are already available on Visita Miraflores’ social media channels. The third episode will be recorded live at Kennedy Park this Thursday, the 27th, at 4:00 p.m.

In this way, Miraflores is promoting activity in the district and strengthening its image in South America. It is also positioning itself as an important tourist destination in Peru. All information about the campaign, attractions, maps, and photographs is available at www.visitamiraflores.com and on the official Visita Miraflores social media accounts.
