Day 1: Arrival Lima

We will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign displaying your name to transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we will pick you up from the hotel to begin the City Tour in Lima. We will start our tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. We will pass through the financial center, the Golf Club, El Olivar, the Huaca, and the Love Park on the Miraflores boardwalk. Continuing with our tour, we will head toward Lima’s Historic Center, where we will visit San Martin Square, its balconies and old mansions, the Main Square with its most important buildings, and finally enter one of the most important convents from the 17th century. A complete tour with the comfort and service of modern tourist transportation.

Day 2: Paracas & Ica – Full Day

At 4:00 a.m. we will start the day by picking up passengers from their hotel to travel towards Paracas. Upon arrival at Chaco Port, we will have about 30 to 40 minutes to have breakfast and use the restroom facilities. Perfect to start the day full of energy! After breakfast, we will head to the dock to board a fascinating boat tour to the Ballestas Islands. During the boat ride, we will closely admire the impressive variety of seabirds such as pelicans, boobies, and seagulls, as well as colonies of sea lions. We will also see the enigmatic Candelabra geoglyph carved into the hillside.

After the boat tour, we will travel to Ica and head to a restaurant where there will be time to enjoy lunch. After the break, we will begin exploring a traditional winery. These traditional wineries are famous for producing pisco, the Peruvian grape brandy, and offer visitors the opportunity to taste their products and learn about the pisco production process.

In the afternoon, we will go to the Huacachina Oasis for an exciting adventure with buggies and sandboarding. We will ride the buggies, driven by expert drivers, through the huge desert sand dunes, and you will be able to practice sandboarding, sliding down the dunes.

Return to Lima.

Day 3: Lima - cusco – city tour

Transfer to Lima airport to take your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, we will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign displaying your name. Transfer to your selected hotel. At the scheduled time, we will start the city tour. We will head to the upper part of Cusco, where our first attraction will be Tambomachay, a ritual site made up of water fountains. Next, we visit Pucapucara, which served as a resting place and control point before entering the city of Cusco. Then, we explore Qenko, which was under construction to become the resting place of a great Inca leader’s mummy. Finally, we visit Sacsayhuaman, whose gigantic walls, resembling a fortress, showcase the largest stone blocks used during the Inca period.

Day 4: Tour maras – moray – salt mines and ollantaytambo – machupicchu town or aguas calientes

In the morning, we head north to the village of Chinchero, where we will have an introduction to the textile industry, one of the main activities of this community. We will also visit the archaeological sites from the Inca period. Afterwards, we move to the concentric terraces of Moray, considered a laboratory where the manipulation of economic plants was relevant, along with spectacular views of the circular and elliptical terrace designs. Next, we arrive at the artisanal salt extraction site of Maras, where solar evaporation is a key factor. This place embodies tradition, work, and superstition. Later, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, in the town called Urubamba, we will stop for a buffet lunch, which is included. In the afternoon, we will visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, where we will enjoy incredible views and appreciate the construction techniques of the Inca era. At the end of the day, we take the tourist train to Machu Picchu town and overnight at the designated hotel.

Day 5: Tour to machu picchu

At the scheduled time with the guide, we will take a bus to the great Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, one of the seven wonders of the modern world. We will do a complete tour of the Inca city: houses, plazas, terraces, temples, and spectacular views, along with the rich history it holds. Afterwards, we return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the train service back to Ollantaytambo and then on to Cusco.

Day 6: Rainbow mountain

The excursion starts very early, heading south by land transport (2 hours) to reach Cusi pata. From this point, we continue for 1 hour along a dusty path until we arrive at the village of Phulawasipata. We begin the hike (horses are available for rent from the community). On the ascent, we will enjoy beautiful landscapes accompanied by herds of llamas and alpacas. Then, the highest snow-capped peak in Cusco, Ausangate (21,100 feet), will reveal its impressive glacier, turning our hike into a magical experience. In the distance, we will observe the daily life of local residents: farming areas, livestock corrals, and local wildlife such as chinchillas, Andean geese, and mountain caracaras will be part of our journey. After 2 hours of hiking, we arrive at the main attraction, the Rainbow Mountain, located at 16,600 feet. It’s time to explore and take the best photos of the mountain. We then begin the descent back along the same route to the village of Cusipata for lunch, and afterwards return to the city of Cusco.

Day 7: Humantay lake

We start the excursion very early, heading north by land transport for 3 hours, passing through Limatambo and Mollepata until we reach Soraypampa, the starting point of our hike. The hike (3 hours) has a degree of difficulty in its final stretch (locals offer horseback rides). Once at Humantay Lake, our guide will provide a complete explanation of the natural surroundings, then we will have time to explore the area and take the best photos of this stunning attraction.

It’s time to enjoy a refreshing lunch and begin the journey back to Cusco. We continue with the return to the city of Cusco.

Day 1 – Arrival in Lima

What’s the weather like? Lima has a coastal desert climate. Expect mild temperatures (18–22°C / 64–72°F), often overcast. Pack a light jacket.

Any travel tips? No altitude issues here. It’s a good day to rest and explore the nearby surroundings.

Day 2 – Paracas & Ica Full Day

How’s the weather? Expect sunny and dry conditions, around 25–30°C (77–86°F). Use sunblock and wear light, comfortable clothing.

How long is the trip? You’ll leave very early (around 4:00 AM) and return to Lima around 11:30 PM. It’s a long but exciting day!

What to bring? Sunglasses, hat, water bottle, light clothes for the coast, and a sweater for the evening.

Day 3 – Lima to Cusco & City Tour

Altitude warning? Yes – Cusco is at 3,400 m (11,150 ft). You may feel altitude symptoms. Take it easy.

What’s the weather like? Temperatures vary between 10–20°C (50–68°F). Bring layers, as it can get cold in the evening.

Day 4 – Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo & Aguas Calientes

Is it cold? Mornings can be chilly in the Sacred Valley (around 5–10°C / 41–50°F), but it warms up by midday.

How much walking? Moderate walking is involved at each archaeological site. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Day 5 – Machu Picchu

Weather? It’s usually mild and humid. Expect 15–25°C (59–77°F). Rain showers are possible, especially from December to March.

What should I pack? Sunblock, hat, insect repellent, rain jacket, and passport for entrance to Machu Picchu.

Day 6 – Rainbow Mountain

How high is it? The summit reaches 5,200 m (17,060 ft). Cold weather and thin air – wear thermal layers and drink coca tea to help with altitude.

Is the hike difficult? Yes – around 2 hours uphill. Locals offer horse rentals if needed.

Day 7 – Humantay Lake

What to expect? Cold mornings and high elevation (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). The last part of the hike is steep and challenging.

How should I prepare? Good hiking boots, layers, gloves, and water. A walking stick can be helpful.

Day 8 – Departure

Any last tips? Make sure you have confirmed flight times and airport transfer arranged in advance.
