Our excursion begins very early as we head north from Cusco, traveling approximately 3 hours by tourist transportation. Along the way, we pass through the towns of Limatambo and Mollepata before arriving at Soraypampa, the starting point of our trek.

The hike to the stunning Humantay Lagoon takes about 4 to 5 hours round trip, with the most challenging section near the end.
