Jorge Chávez Airport leads the nominations in the 2026 FAB Awards
The new Jorge Chávez International Airport is strengthening its position within the global airport circuit. Seven of its commercial offerings were among the finalists for the FAB Awards 2026 , the most prestigious awards in the Travel Retail segment.
With this result, Jorge Chávez Airport has become the South American airport with the most nominations, competing against top-tier venues such as Dubai, Changi, Hong Kong, Munich, Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Denver, and JFK.
Organized by The Moodie Davitt Report, a leading platform for Travel Retail specialists worldwide, the FAB Awards annually recognize excellence in gastronomy, hospitality, and passenger experience. In its 2026 edition, the program evaluated nearly 350 applications from operators and brands around the world.
These are the nominations received by the new Jorge Chávez International Airport:
La Bonbonniere: The restaurant received the Gold Award and is a finalist for:
- Best New Opening of the Year in Airport Food and Beverage
- Best Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year (in airports with more than 20 million passengers)
Copper Bar & Kitchen: The bar, inspired by Peruvian copper, received the Gold Award and is a finalist for:
- Best Airport Bar of the Year (in airports with more than 20 million passengers)
- Best Restaurant Design of the Year
Callao: The restaurant received the Gold Award and is a finalist for Best Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year (in airports with more than 20 million passengers).
La Lucha: Peru’s iconic sandwiches received the Gold Award and are finalists in the Best Airport Takeaway Offering category.
Puku Puku: Received the Gold Award and is a finalist for Best Airport Cafe.
Perusuyo: Received the Gold Award and is a finalist for Best Airport Food and Beverage Offering that embodies a sense of belonging (Sense of Place) for its Peruvian concept.
The Club: Received the Silver Award for Best New Opening of the Year in VIP Lounges.
These accolades support Lima Airport’s commitment to building a commercial offering that unites national brands with international standards, positioning Peruvian gastronomy and its retail offerings as a key element of the travel experience.

Rodrigo Vargas, Country Manager for Peru at Airport Dimensions, expressed the company’s satisfaction with the Silver Award received at the FAB Awards and noted that the award reflects their commitment to continuously elevating the culinary offerings and the VIP Lounge experience, highlighting Peruvian products.

Currently, the new Jorge Chávez International Airport has 75 establishments operating in more than 17,000 m² of commercial space. Of these, 26 belong to the food and beverage sector, a portfolio that combines Peruvian cuisine with global consumer trends.
The names of the winners of the FAB Awards 2026 will be announced during the FAB + Hospitality Conference & Awards, scheduled for July 7 and 8 in Bengaluru, India.
