The Magic Water Circuit Tops the Tourism Ranking in Peru for 2025
Lima’s Magic Water Circuit became Peru’s most visited tourist attraction during the first nine months of 2025. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism explained that this park received 1,845,086 visitors between January and September.
On the other hand, the figures show that almost all visitors were Peruvian. In total, 1,760,465 residents of the country entered the circuit. This represents 95.4% of the total. Meanwhile, foreign tourists numbered 84,621. Thus, they made up 4.6% of the official record.
Machu Picchu appears in second place on the list. The sanctuary received 1,170,389 visitors during the same period. This number grew by 3% compared to the previous year, representing an increase of nearly 34,000 visits.

Unlike the Magic Water Circuit, Machu Picchu mainly attracted travelers from other countries. Thus, 917,419 visitors were foreigners and 252,970 were nationals.
Finally, these were the most visited places of the year, according to Mincetur:
