Machu Picchu Comes to Life in Manchester with New Virtual Reality
On November 27, an amazing adventure will arrive in the United Kingdom. It’s called “Machu Picchu: Journey to the Lost City,” and it’s a virtual reality experience that will make you feel like you’re inside the famous lost city of the Incas.
The event will be held on Tib Street, in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. There, visitors will be able to walk through sacred temples, lively squares, and mysterious landscapes. Everything will be presented with a cinematic story and state-of-the-art technology.
Tickets are now available on Fever, a well-known platform for discovering events. After Manchester, the exhibition will travel to London in early December.
This experience has already been a success in countries such as the United States, Germany, and Singapore. Now it is coming to the United Kingdom to take all visitors to the mountains of Peru without having to leave the city. It was created in collaboration with Virtual Worlds, a company specializing in immersive technology. Together, they manage to combine real history and fantasy so that children and adults can learn and have fun at the same time.
During the tour, you will be accompanied by TERI, a friendly robot guide. As you walk through the temples and terraces, TERI will tell you secrets and interesting facts. At times, you will be able to fly with the condors over the Andes or enter an Inca house during an eclipse. Each scene will make you feel part of an ancient civilization full of magic.
The experience is designed to be shared. Families, friends, and travelers can discover the mysteries of Machu Picchu together.
This project is the first of many that Fever wants to bring to Manchester. Soon, they will offer more virtual worlds to explore and learn about different cultures and eras.
If you want to experience this adventure, you can get your tickets on the Fever app or website, or at machupicchuexp.com/manchester.
