Google has made searching for flights much easier. It has also introduced “Flight Deals,” a new tool that uses artificial intelligence. With this tool, people no longer have to spend hours checking multiple websites. Instead, they can describe their ideal trip in plain language. The tool then shows them options that match what they want.

Before, people would try hundreds of combinations of dates and destinations. However, that is no longer necessary. Instead, they simply describe the type of trip they are looking for. For example, they can explain where they want to go, when they want to travel, and what kind of experience they expect. Then, Google’s AI puts together the best available options.

This feature is especially useful for those who are flexible and want to save money. At the same time, it helps them discover places that may not have been in their plans.

How does it work?

To get started, a person can type something like: “I want a week’s vacation in February from Lima. I’m also looking for a good price on a nonstop flight to a city with good weather and good food.”

Or even: “10-day ski trip to a first-class resort with fresh snow.”

In each case, the tool understands what they are asking for. It then analyzes real data from Google Flights and finally displays options from many airlines and booking sites.

Google explained that this feature is already available in several countries in the region, including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru. It also noted that it is designed for travelers who want to stick to their budget without complications.
