ARMY Plants ‘BTS Forest’ in Machu Picchu to Honor K-Pop Group BTS

BTS’s arrival in Peru isn’t just generating excitement for their concerts. Thousands of fans are also looking forward to seeing them at the San Marcos Stadium in Lima. That’s why the ARMY community, together with the BTS Peru Fan Club, created the “BTS Forest” at Machu Picchu. This project was inspired by the band’s commitment to caring for the planet. It also aims to inspire more people to protect nature.

Furthermore, the idea is part of the “One Million Trees” campaign. This campaign is led by the Ministry of the Environment. So far, nearly 2,000 native plants have been planted in Piscacucho. This location marks the start of the Inca Trail. Therefore, the forest is not just a symbol. It also leaves a real impact that will endure over time and connects fans with the Earth.

First, the “BTS Forest” was created following the band’s example. They always talk about helping society and caring for the environment. So, the ARMY in Peru decided to take action. They planted trees such as alder, queñua, and chachacomo. In this way, they help protect a very important place in the country.

Additionally, the project has official support. The Ministry of the Environment and SERNANP are participating in this initiative. They recognize the fans’ efforts. For this reason, they will present a certificate validating the work done and demonstrating that music can also bring about positive changes in society.

BTS in Lima 2026: Dates and Prices

Meanwhile, excitement will build in October. BTS will be coming to Peru for the first time. The concerts will take place on October 9 and 10, 2026, at Estadio San Marcos. These shows are part of the “BTS World Tour Arirang.” Additionally, ticket sales begin on April 7 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

Finally, anticipation is sky-high. BTS consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They have fans all over the world. In Peru, the ARMY shows its support in a big way. They don’t just fill concert venues; they also create projects that help society and the environment.
